We’re just a couple of regular people who were once ski bums (well, we got paid to do it), who met in a ski shop (that’s another story for another time) and started a family who spends our time outdoors skiing, snowboarding, dirt bike riding, camping with our kids, and hiking with our dog Peyton. Life on the road was hard with kids so we both changed jobs and raised our family knowing one day, we wanted to help people by working for ourselves.
And, whalla…it was 2017, now it’s 2020 and here we are solopreneurs [like you – real estate agents, network marketers, sales rep and at home businesses] in business for ourselves and we welcome you to theSololife.co.
One of us loves to cook (well one of us is a game-changer at the dinner part and one rules at breakfast – according to a surveyed crowd of one, our son).
In fact, Chris has found some great ways to involve cooking with essential oils. The flavors are inspiring and the health benefits well…we’re checking into it and we’ll keep you posted on the blog. We’re also very proud to be a socially conscious company and we give back by donating part of our proceeds from our oily passion to help find the cure for Startgardts . Classified as an “orphan” disease in the macular degenerative family of diseases and affects roughly 30,000 children and young adults and robs them of their sight in their youth to their late twenties.
We also enjoy helping Type2 Diabetics live life better by alleviating the pain, tingling and numbness of neuropathy through the use of essential oils like Carol did for herself. We pretty much love everything about the outdoors especially skiing, snowboarding, hiking with our dog Peyton and we love our 2 amazing kids which is why we want to find the answers and cure for Stargardts.

Feed Your Soul
Having to exercise regularly hiking has been a great way for me to do it. Man, it’s such a mind shift at the end of the day. It’s an amazing way to clear your head from your work day and everyday life stuff! Even on the days, we don’t hike we grab Peyton and head out through our neighborhood and he LOVES checkin’ out the hood.
And, I also use essential oils for the neuropathy, as a result, of my type2 diabetes and has almost completely taken away the numbness and tingling. Which is pretty, amazing and why I really enjoy helping other Type2 Diabetics live life better by alleviating their pain, tingling, and numbness of neuropathy, through the use, of essential oils.
You should check out all the incredible things these oils can do like they helped me, they can help with your mindset, calm you down, elevate your happy factor, migraine headache, a cold, an allergy and hundreds of other ailments and desires.
The oils can’t cure Stargardts disease because it’s passed down from the parent’s genes but, life is stressful and this is one way to help yourself without relying on man-made synthetic versions that don’t treat the cause, they just mask the symptoms.
What Is Stargardt Disease? Stargardts 
Stargardt disease is an eye disease that causes vision loss children and young adults.
It is an inherited disease, meaning it is passed on to children from their parents.
Stargardt disease is a form of macular degeneration and is often called juvenile macular degeneration. Macular degeneration is when part of the retina that gives you central vision, called the macula, breaks down. In people with Stargardt disease, special light-sensing cells in the macula, called photoreceptors, die off. Central or detailed, vision becomes blurry or has dark areas.
